Workshop on "BeginBotics" @ DSCT Innovation Hub

Glimpse of 2 days Workshop on "BeginBotics” by eminent robotic experts Dr. R. Benschwartz, Mr. John Pradeep, Mr. M. Siva Baarathi on 18 & 19 August 2018 at DSCT Innovation Hub. The workshop will focus on basic features of robotics and its hands on activities to make models / projects. 30 hub students have attended the workshop and certificates were given to all the participants.

Workshop on "ROBOTICS" @ DSCT Innovation Hub

DSCT Innovation Hub proposed to organize a 2 days Workshop on "Robotics” in its premises on 18^th and 19^th August 2018 from 10 am to 1 pm. This workshop will focus on basic features of robotics and its hands on activities to make models / projects with the available LEGO Mindstorms kits.

Interactive Lecture on “Power of Innovations & Technology” @ DSCT Innovation Hub

As a part of Innovation Hub activities, organized an interactive lecture on the topic “Power of Innovations & Technology” by Dr. S.Sudhakar, Professor & Head, Dept. of Biotechnology, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli on Saturday, the 11^th August 2018 from 2.30 pm - 4.00 pm at DSCT, Innovation Hub. 46 students, teachers and innovation hub members from various institutions were actively involved and interacted during the session.

As a part of Innovation Hub activities, it is proposed to organize an innovative lecture on the topic “Power of Innovations and Technology” on Saturday, the 11^th August 2018 from 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm at DSCT, Innovation Hub.

Opportunity for Grass root Innovative and Creative Students @ DSCT Innovation Hub

DSCT “Innovation Hub” has been providing a platform for creative thinkers to nurture new ideas and develop inquisitive perspective in youths especially among the students. Innovation hub provides facilities in various disciplines like Physics, Chemistry, Bio-Science, Electronics, Robotics, etc., in order to promote their innovative and creative activities. Using the facilities, an inquisitive student can convert his/her innovative ideas into products and we will provide catalytic support like providing materials, equipments, guidance and Industrial visit.

DSCT Innovation Hub Members Working Models Activity

Students were carried out their basic working models like Automatic door locking system from scrap, soldiering using pencil scrap, Reduce pollution effect over chimney smoke, Protection of cloth drying using water sensors, Carnatic musical play using arundino programming, Thick Paper bags (alternative to plastics), etc. 34 students were discussed their basic models at DSCT Innovation Hub.

Various School groups visit to DSCT Innovation Hub

Glimpse of interactive discussion about the simple local innovations & how it reflects effectively on day to day life, and also other innovation hub activities to emerging grass root students from various School groups on various days. 772 students and teachers were actively involved and interacted at DSCT Innovation Hub.
